Terms of Service

1. “YES, DO THIS WORK”
*    I hereby authorize the corresponding service to be done along with the necessary materials.
2. “YOU MAY DRIVE MY CAR ON PUBLIC ROADS” Big Countrys Auto Service LLC – staff may operate my vehicle for the purpose of testing, inspection, and delivery.
3. “NO PAYMENT, NO KEYS”
*    An express lien is acknowledged on my vehicle to secure the amount of services thereto.
4. “ONLINE COMMUNICATION OK”
*    I welcome email from Big Countrys Auto Service LLC – as a means of receiving copies of my estimate, work order, and invoice.
5. “HERE’S MY SIGNATURE”
*    I endorse the attached digital image of my signature as equivalent to my written signature and as proof of my agreement to these terms. (1-27)
6. “LABOR RATE”
*    Labor Rate $100.00 Per Hour on parts we supply. Labor Rate for Customer Supplied parts is $120 Per Hour. Labor rate on European Cars in $110 Per Hour.
7. “REFUNDS/ WARRANTY”
*    No Warranty on Items Stated (NW), 6 Month 6,000 Mile Warranty (Whichever comes first) Warranty is only valid from initial repair order date and mileage. Big Countrys Auto Service LLC reserves the rights to void any warranty at any time. Big Countrys Auto Service LLC may issue a refund once a refund Addendum is completed. Warranty for Big Countrys Auto Service LLC is only valid if the customer is in the state of “North Carolina”.  Big Countrys Auto Service LLC warranty is only valid if the vehicle is located within a 25-Mile service area of Mecklenburg County, and within the state of North Carolina. Sublet items are non-warranty with Big Countrys Auto Services. All sublet warranty claims are to be submitted to the sublet repair facility. This Limited Warranty does not cover: Any damage to your car caused by abnormal use (such as use in a commercial venture), misuse, neglect (such as not performing maintenance services in accordance with the instructions in the owner’s manual for your car), alteration or tampering, or by external causes (such as accidents, fire, water and freezing). Any diagnostic or inspection service including pre-purchase inspection services provided through Big Countrys Auto Service LLC. Any issues unrelated to the Vehicle Services ordered by you (e.g., if you order an alternator replacement because your car was not starting, and the car continues not to start after the alternator is replaced, this Limited Warranty does not cover the fact that the car does not start); Any pre-existing condition with your car that is not known by the Technician prior to starting the Vehicle Services and that is discovered during or after the Vehicle Services are performed (e.g., if you engage the Technician to replace valve cover gaskets, but during the removal of the valve covers, worn plastic hoses break because they are old and brittle; repairing and/or replacing the plastic hoses under that scenario would not be covered by this Limited Warranty); Any repairs that you request the Technician perform beyond those included in the Technician’s diagnosis of the problem, and which the Technician performs, even if those additional repairs are needed to fix the issue you asked the Technician to diagnose; provided, however, that if you authorize and pay for additional repairs through Big Countrys Auto Service LLC, such additional repairs would be included in the Vehicle Services and covered by this Limited Warranty; and Any consequential effects of the Vehicle Services performed, unrelated to any of the parts replaced being defective or any of the repair work being done incorrectly (e.g., if you request a transmission fluid service, but because you have not been replacing the transmission fluid regularly, when the Technician replaces the fluid, with the right fluid installed properly, your transmission stops shifting properly because it cannot handle the new fluid—this is a “consequential effect” not covered by this Limited Warranty). This Limited Warranty is entirely void when: Any parts not ordered through Big Countrys Auto Service LLC, are installed by the Technician; Any Vehicle Service request is made by you that deviates from a manufacturer’s recommendation (e.g., conventional oil is requested by you for an oil change but the owner’s manual for your vehicle calls for synthetic oil); or After receiving the Vehicle Services, you take your car to a person not scheduled and processed through Big Countrys Auto Service to diagnose or repair a problem believed to be associated with such Vehicle Services, without giving Big Countrys Auto Service LLC, the first opportunity to inspect and remedy the problem (or to consent to an alternative person or shop from doing so). Any determination of whether this Limited Warranty does not apply or is otherwise void as to a particular warranty claim shall be made by us in our sole discretion. You will be charged for one hour of labor fees if a service call is made under this Limited Warranty for an alleged defect determined not to be the result of a defect in materials or workmanship of the Vehicle Services. You must pay for any non-warranty service ordered at the same time as any warranty service.
8. “CUSTOMER SUPPLIED PARTS”
*    (CSP) Customer supplied parts have no parts or labor warranty (No Warranty) Labor rate for CSP is $110 hr.  Payment due upon arrival of appointment before any work is started. If parts provided are incorrect/broken/damaged/doesn’t repair your vehicle…etc you are still responsible for pre-approved amount. If the service requested does not include a diagnostic inspection by Big Countrys Auto Service LLC and if the issue is not resolved, you are still responsible for all charges pre-approved.  Should payment not be submitted term number 25 will implemented immediately. 
9. “CREDIT CARDS AND OTHER PAYMENTS”
*    (For Credit Cards, Cash-app and Venmo no Processing fee will be applied at time of sale) Credit Cards, Payment link or Afterpay are the only accepted forms of payment.
10. “DIAGNOSTIC FEES”
*    Diagnostic Fee(s) include One hour of diagnostic testing. Payments for Diagnostics are due upon arrival. Additional labor may be required for specific tests. Big Countrys Auto Service LLC reserves the right to “VOID” any diagnostic job at any time. Additional diagnostic time may be required for proper diagnosis and labor will be charged at Big Countrys Auto Service LLC hourly labor rate. Big Countrys Auto Service LLC requires authorization on any additional labor. Failure to agree to additional labor may result in a “VOID” diagnostic and you “The Consumer” are still required to pay agreed upon diagnostic charges. Failure to pay a diagnostic charge may result in “An express lien” see term 3 on Big Countrys Auto Service LLC “Terms and Conditions” page. If Big Countrys Auto Service LLC, provides the parts and the vehicle has had a diagnostic completed within the last 30-days Big Countrys Auto Service LLC will apply a $25.00 credit towards the needed repair(s). ($25.00 can only be applied to the same vehicle). Limit one $20.00 credit per appointment/vehicle. All above prices are subject to taxes and other applicable fees.
11. “FUEL”
*    Big Countrys Auto Service LLC, requires vehicles to have 1/4 tank of fuel for all repairs, this ensures that proper testing may be performed if needed. This is also needed for a safe test drive. Vehicles that do not have a minimum of 1/4 tank of fuel may be subject to a “Fuel Surcharge” of current fuel prices. Big Countrys Auto Service LLC may upcharge fuel up to 20% of fuel listed price.
12. “BOOKING FEES”
*    Big Countrys Auto Service LLC, requires all customers to pay a $50.00 Non-Refundable appointment booking/Scheduling fee. This fee is applied to the scheduled appointment. If the appointment date and or time is changed (by the customer) the scheduling fee will not be applied to the new appointment date and time, and a new $50.00 Non-Refundable fee will be required and will be applied to the new scheduled appointment. Only one $50.00 booking fee will be applied to the scheduled appointment. If customer(s) request a cancellation, a new booking fee will be required at the time of scheduling a new appointment. No refunds will be given if a customer(s) cancel a scheduled appointment Big Countrys Auto Service LLC has the right to reschedule an appointment at any time. If Big Countrys Auto Service LLC Reschedules an appointment a refund may be issued, this Refund will be at management’s discretion. No refunds will be issued due to inclement weather.
13. “APPOINTMENT TIMES”
*    Big Countrys Auto Service LLC is appointment based only. Appointment times vary with being mobile; we allow up to one hour past scheduled appointment time for the technician to arrive.
14. “CANCELATION”
*    You may cancel a scheduled appointment at any time, subject to the following. If you cancel any scheduled job, you will lose the “Booking Fee” if no booking fee was paid prior to the scheduled appointment, you will be charged a $50.00 cancellation fee for the technician’s time. Big Countrys Auto Service LLC, reserves the right to establish, remove and/or revise our cancellation policy or cancellation fees at any time in our discretion.
15. “PHOTOS AND VIDEOS”
*    Big Countrys Auto Service LLC, will take photo/video documentation of all “New” and “Used” Parts thus ensures all work was completed, Big Country Auto Services LLC, may take photos/videos of the vehicle, this includes but is not limited to, Tags, Interior, Exterior of the vehicle. Photos/videos may be used to determine warranty issues and pre-existing damage to a vehicle. All photos/videos may be shared with insurance companies and may be used in a court of law.
16. “AFTERPAY”
*    Big Countrys Auto Service offers “Afterpay” payment options for all customers. For all “Afterpay” questions please visit- https://help.afterpay.com/ 
*    (If “Afterpay” is used on any invoice aa additional  6.00%  processing fee will be added at the time of sale.)
17. “BATTERY WARRANTY”
*    No Warranty On Items Stated (NW), 6 Month 6,000 Mile Warranty (Whichever comes first) Warranty is only valid from initial repair order date and mileage.
*    Big Countrys Auto Service LLC reserves the rights to void any warranty at any time. (Battery manufacturers offer up to 5 year warranty please contact the Battery manufacture to determine the specific warranty of the parts installed)
18. “ALIGNMENTS’
*    Big Countrys Auto Service LLC, does not offer warranty of alignments on any vehicle. This includes all sublet alignments.
19. “OIL/OTHER FLUIDS”
*    Big Countrys Auto Service LLC, does not offer a warranty of any fluids used in vehicle. Big Countrys Auto Service LLC recommends using manufacture recommended fluids and replacement schedules.
20. “QUOTES”
*    All vehicle repair quotes are valid for 30-Days from the initial quote date. 
21. “BRAKES”
*    All brake warranties are for pad(s) and rotor(s) and or brake shoe(s) and brake drum(s). No warranty can be used on “PADS” if no new rotor(s) and or drum(s) are installed. Just installing brake pads can cause an increase in brake “DUST” and or brake “NOISE” all brake warranties are VOID if just pads are installed.
22. “A/C WARRANTY”
*    No Warranty on “Evac and Recharge” for an A/C diagnostic. No Warranty on “Evac and Recharge” for an A/C system, this includes post repairs that are “first steps only”. All items that are not included in an “A/C KIT” are subject to no warranty unless otherwise documented on the repair order by Big Countrys Auto Service LLC. No A/C Warranty is valid without a complete system A/C “FLUSH”.
23. “WORK AREA”
*    You agree to treat Technicians courteously and lawfully, to provide a safe and appropriate working environment that follows all applicable laws and regulations, and to provide reasonable cooperation to enable Technicians to complete the requested/required job.
24. “WARRANTY CLAIM”
*    Once you file a claim with us, our claims team will evaluate the claim to determine preliminary eligibility for coverage of Vehicle Services under this Limited Warranty. If eligible, we will send a technician to inspect the problem. If the Technician determines that there is a defect in materials or workmanship of the Vehicle Services and we elect to perform remedial service work and/or replace defective part(s) installed (instead of providing a refund), we will create a new appointment to perform such work and/or replace such part(s) at no cost to you.
*    If the Technician determines that the claimed defect is not the result of a defect in materials or workmanship of the Vehicle Services, you will be charged for one hour of labor fees. All defective parts replaced under this Limited Warranty must be returned to us. By starting a warranty claim you agree to a diagnostic fee of $100 (Plus tax and fees). This fee may be adjusted after the initial warranty inspection. If the warranty inspection is within the 6-month 6,000-mile service period and the issues are part failure and or a workmanship issue you may not be charged. If the issues are unrelated to the previous repair(s)/ you will be charged for one hour of labor fees if a service call is made under this Limited Warranty for an alleged defect determined not to be the result of a defect in materials or workmanship of the Vehicle Services. You must pay for any non-warranty service ordered at the same time as any warranty service.

*    Documentation: Please attach all relevant documentation supporting your claim including photos or video of the problem occurring with your vehicle. Please note, however, that attempting to fix the problem or touching the work performed by Big Countrys Auto Service LLC will immediately void your Limited Warranty.
25. “Mechanic Lien”
*    An express lien is acknowledged on my vehicle to secure the amount of services thereto. A mechanic’s lien is a security interest in the title to property for the benefit of those who have supplied labor or materials that improve the property. The lien exists for both real property and personal property. By agreeing to term 25 of Big Countrys Auto Service LLC terms and conditions you the consumer, understand/”NO PAYMENT NO KEYS” in addition the vehicle may be towed and booted at the owner’s expense, until outstanding agreed upon balance is paid in full.
26. “Vip Customer Program”
         We offer a Vip Customer Program that is optional. Initial startup cost is 24.99.  It is a monthly subscription that is charged on the 1st of the month at $14.99. This Program gets you a waved booking fee, lower labor rate, increased availability, as well as a 6 month extended warranty to 12 month/12k mile. If you cancel during the 1 year period, your extended warranty is void, and no money will be refunded.
